Welcome to Blood and Gold: or the Story of Marius approved by thefanlistings.org. That is exactly what this fanlisting is dedicated to. Blood and Gold the book. Having an obsession with Marius, no doubt when I read the book, it quickly became my favorite. But it was more than just loving the character of Marius... the book is exquisitly written. Anne Rice has a style all her own and it really shines in this story. She did Marius justice.

I had high expectations because I adore the character of Marius so much. I wanted a book that filled in every empty spot, and left me more enthralled by Marius than I was before reading his novel. And this one did. The moment I finished it, I turned the book over and prompty read it all over again.
